The 135 Watt Fender amp chassis is one of our favorite amps. They are readily available, have tons of power, and very high quality. The ultralinear output transformer really provides a lot of full, strong tone when set up right. Torres Tube Amp Overhaul Kits. Everyone has been asking for an overhaul of their vintage tube amps. We are developing lots of complete "overhaul" kits for as many of the popular vintage tube amps as possible. This is the newest thing in the tube amp world, and has already been really enjoyed by everyone who has tried them. Overhaul kits are in three levels so you can pick how much you want to do. Kit #1 includes all new resistors and capacitors for the circuit board and now ALL THE FILTER CAPS. All the parts to replace everything on the amp's circuit board. We use the best carbon composition resistors and Torres custom made Orange Drop capacitors for the audio signal. Vibratos are rebuilt with select metal film capacitors for increased stability and tone. Each kit includes the schematic of the amp, plus instructions for doing a good job on your overhaul.
