While we were looking into these amps for redesign we found that Fender had left a tube stage unused in the Blues series (not the hotrod series) why is one of those unanswered questions - but we have designed a modification to the existing circuit board to put this stage into the channel switching to give the drive channel some REAL PUNCH. This is a well developed mod with the changes needed to the power supply to avoid motorboating and to reduce extra noise. Compatible with our jacks kit, brightness kit and bias kit for these amps.
