F-SPACED humbuckers for use with Fender type, or floyd rose bridges. All pickups are 100% hand wound (called "scatter wound") on new fiber coils with hand selected Alnico V (Alnico 5) cylindrical magnets, hand-set eyelets for the wiring, random-wound, hand-guided (at slow speed)with 42 gauge formvar copper wire, and each pickup is wax-potted by hand in paraffin wax. All the detail, quality, tone and attention of other "expensive" boutique made pickups but we have no middleman, no wholesale outlets, no extra costs passed on to you. You save a ton, on higher quality stuff than ANYONE can make. Dan Torres was one of the very first guys EVER, rewinding guitar pickups, learning from the legendary C.O. "Doc" Kauffman. Leo Fender's original partner pickups are made in our shop in San Mateo, not imported. All Humbucking Pickups are 100% handwound (scatter wound) with new coils, frames and hardware and are all potted in paraffin wax (available un-potted by request). Alnico 5 magnets are standard. Alnico 2 and Alnico 8 also available. They are knocking out everyone who trys them. There are several models with alnico 2, alnico 5 and the new Alnico 8 magnets are available, 2 conductor or 4 conductor. We have our Very Vintage Patent Applied for designs, one of the most authentic pickups in the world, the killer blues model with a 5% overwind for more "guts" and punch, and the hot Rock model - for the rockers among us.
