A hot humbucking pickup. High gain, lots of sustain, warm midrange, easy distortion. The most copied pickup ever. Very good for the rocker/alternate/metal player. We used to do just about nothing but install Super Distortions and level frets - they have always had THE sound. "Fender spacing" means the pole pieces are spaced to line up under the strings on a Strat bridge. |
