2 x EL84 power tubes for 20 watts. A really great lower powered amp. It is MUCH EASIER to get power amp and power tube distortion with lower powered amps. They can sound the best in the studio and in small club/home situations. Full Channel Switching (LED indicator footpedal included). Two completely independent channels. Channel #1 is clean, Vox AC30 tone. Crisp and clear with that classic Vox Vibe. BUT - there is more to the DM-2000 Clean channel. It also has a "mode switch" Push Pull pot that changes the clean sound to the tone of a Plexi Marshall clean tone. Overdrive is high gain, "crunch" Marshall - the Torres "Brown Sound" tone. Strong overdrive with classic high gain Marshall tone. BUT there is more to the DM-2000 overdrive channel too - it also has a mode switch to change from the "Brown sound" tone to a modern super high gain tone, similar to a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier or Soldano amp. Beautiful tube/tranformer driven spring reverb on both channels, plus tube buffered effects loop (optional Parallel loop) Preamp tubes: 1 x 5751, 4 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AT7 2 x Jensen Mod 10 speakers. |
