Vibratos are rebuilt with select metal film capacitors for increased stability and tone. Each kit includes a copy of the Pre CBS circuit board layout and a schematic of the amp, plus instructions for doing a good job on your overhaul. Kit #2 includes all of Kit #1 (resistors and capacitors for the circuit board, filter caps) plus all the control pots (potentiometers) the jacks, on-off switches, and all new tube sockets for the whole amp. Pretty much a full overhaul of everything that can wear out. These kits require a bit of experience. You will be working from the original Fender layout drawing for the amp. Parts are replaced with exact replacements and instructions are included. The kits retain the original Vibrato photocell. New ones are available if you wish - extra $15.00 |
