Fender pushed the tubes pretty hard for this period of time for a still-modern sounding amp. of course the normal weaknesses of amps from this period exist. Our first kit is to replace the VERY, VERY BAD plastic input jacks with nice switchcraft U.S. made metal jacks. an easy kit and it solves 90% of the problems we encounter with the Super 60 - but New - Super 60 complete handwired, point to point total amp mods - Cool.
