Channel Switching. Two completely independent channels. Channel #1 is clean, Vox AC30 tone. Crisp and clear with that classic Vox Vibe. BUT - there is more to the DM-2000 Clean channel. It also has a "mode switch" Push Pull pot that changes the clean sound to the tone of a Plexi Marshall clean tone. Overdrive is high gain, "crunch" Marshall - the Torres "Brown Sound" tone. Strong overdrive with classic high gain Marshall tone. BUT there is more to the DM-2000 overdrive channel too - it also has a mode switch to change from the "Brown sound" tone to a modern super high gain tone, similar to a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier or Soldano amp. Torres Engineering Channel Switching custom made amplifiers are all 100% all tube, hand wired point-to-point Torres design that delivers super low noise and extremely high performance throughout. Each amp is hand made to your order. They has the best quality cathode biased power tubes and preamp tubes which are hand tested for your amp’s design. Amps have a tube buffered effects loop and transformer driven reverb on both channels. Each channel has its own set of tone controls and dedicated tubes. the Torres custom 418P series orange drop capacitors are hand wired on a Torres custom fiber/phenolic eyelet circuit board. The ceramic tube sockets are mounted on the Torres custom steel chassis (no one else has this beautiful chassis) with CHROME faceplate and back plate. Amps use a 5U4 or 5AR4 rectifier tube. Switchcraft jacks and hardware, carling switches (U.S. made), fingerjoint solid custom made cabinets, LED indicator footswitch full instructions and one year warranty included. |
