The only round wound string that can be considered a "Jazz" string. The winding material is smaller, and applied with a very dense wrap. They have a strong fundamental-rich jazzy tone. Somewhat brighter than a flatwound, jazz and swing players note the clarity and the "piano-like" quality. This is one of the best jazz, swing and BeBop strings there is.
