You should have experience building amplifiers, be able to identify parts, know safety methods around high voltages and know what an amp is supposed to look like when completed. All parts are included, the Torres Eyelet point to point board, all the carbon composition resistors, high end Mallory or Orange drop capacitors, filter caps, power supply, new pots, new tube sockets, the switches you need - everything. The amp uses its original tubes and the added tubes are included in the kit. The original transformers and on-off, standby switches are retained also, as well as some hardware bits and pieces. The amp has the same power it did when it started. All new Color layouts are included with the instructions to make assembly easy to understand and complete. The building project involves removing the amp chassis from the cabinet, taking out the old printed circuit board, fitting the new tube sockets and assembling, wiring the point to point new circuit board, pots and controls. |
