The original Torres Kit. For Fender two channel amps made before 1980. Converts the normal channel (or bass channel)tube into an extra high gain stage with its own gain control The kit including a Torres Dual Stage Master, boost switch, and the extra gain stage. Installation is stripping out the parts for the normal channel and installing the new circuit. Not a lot of parts, but very effective. this makes the amp perform like a Mesa Boogie Mark I A whole lot of sustain and distorion readily available and adjustable. Since the kit includes the Torres Dual Stage Master, it actually has MORE gain available then the Boogie. The Original sound is still available on the amp too! not a channel switching mod, see our super texan or others for more advanced channel switching functions. |
