The Torres Designed Super Texan amp is one of the most popular custom amps in the world. Unlike a lot of boutique amps, it offers advanced modern features such as channel switching and a tube buffered effects loop. Features: Two complete channels. The perfect blackface tone Clean channel has volume, treble, bass and midrange, and a dedicated preamp tube for the clean channel. Overdrive channel has a rich, warm blues/rock overdrive without the heavy metal rasp or irritating tone. Kind of like a Dumble or a good black face Fender turned up to about 15. It has gain, (master) volume, treble, bass and midrange and a dedicated tube also. Master features (for both channels) include reverb on both channels, a Torres Dual Stage master for the whole amp, and a tube buffered effects loop. Power tubes use a Black Face type driver and 6L6 tubes for the 50 watt, 6V6 tubes for the 20 watt amp.
