Along with our Strat and Tele pickups everyone was asking for real hand-wound humbuckers with the same ultra-high quality and tone. So we started the process of restoration and design of the perfect humbucking pickup in several designs, our Very Vintage PAF style, Blues overwind, and the Awesome - Rock model. 
We had to have some parts made, and needed to find the perfect sounding magnets (un-polished Alnico made to our specs), along with coils, frames, the correct 42 gauge copper wire, braided cable, even the wood spacers used in original pickups - detail is all-important!. Specs for the Vintage models are matched to the best sounding of the old pickups, and new technology gives us the Hot Rock/Metal pickups. All are 100% scatter-wound by hand and hand-assembled with incredible attention to detail. Designer Dan Torres has several vintage real P.A.F. equipped Gibsons that are stock and have been friends since the 1960's - we have "bench marks" to listen to! You get TONE, TONE, TONE! Big and fat, real full with powerful bass response and sweet, singing high end. Output is real strong for all models and sustain is the best there is. Pickups are potted in pure wax, unpotted available at your request too. Available in Black uncovered, zebra uncovered, with chrome or gold covers, 2 conductor (stock) and 4 conductor for phase and coil tap designs. AND NEW F-SPACED BLACK COILS OR COVERED Great Stuff!!
